Most recently, Dhananjay was at the Surgo Foundation where he built their investment pipeline and key relationships in the region. He has previously worked for Siemens AG in Germany, Mexico, and India, leading strategic global projects. Prior to that, he worked at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s India Country Office. Dhananjay began his career as an investment banker in Germany, working on mergers and acquisitions in the technology and media sectors.
He has an MBA from INSEAD and earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in engineering from the Delhi Technological University and the Technical University of Munich, respectively. He speaks English, Hindi, Tamil, German, and Spanish. He enjoys writing and his work has been featured in The Times of India and India Development Review.

Alessio holds an MBA from INSEAD. He also holds a Master degree in Electronics & Telecom engineering from «Roma Tre» university in Rome (Italy), obtained in collaboration with the Imperial college of London (UK)

Prior to Alstonia, she worked with John Hopkins University as Associate faculty in the Research Department. Her work focused on assessing the performance of the primary health care systems in India. Previously,

Japneet also worked as a Researcher at the Centre for Social Sciences and Humanities and as an Economist with Cambridge Economic Policy Associates.
She received a Master’s degree in Economics from the prestigious Delhi School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from SRCC, Delhi University.

Steve’s experience is grounded in 20+ years of commercial healthcare market research work consulting pharmaceutical, biotech, and device companies on understanding their patient markets, and provider and payor stakeholders to optimize prescribing, uptake, use, adherence, and formulary coverage for their products. Over the past decade, he has leveraged this experience to support governments, donors, and implementers to evolve their thinking and methods to realize greater impact, and through more sustainable approaches.

As the Founder of Boond (www.boond.net), Rustam raised funds and implemented over 20MW of solar power in Asia and Africa including building 200+ solar mini-grids in some of the remotest parts of the world. Prior that Boond, he worked at Deloitte Consulting, United Nations Women, Endeva UG, Sustainable Development Technologies Canada, University of British Columbia and John Hopkins University. He has authored several publications and advised on renewable energy and climate change for global development agencies. He received notable fellowships from Echoing Green and Chevening Science and Technology Commonwealth. Rustam holds an MBA from INSEAD, complemented by a Master of Science degree from the University of California.
